Quadball is an inclusive community. As demonstrated by Darmstadt, Mainz, Hamburg, and the renaming of Quidditch to Quadball with regard to queer individuals.
Furthermore, as shown by the Brazilian team "araribolt" on April 2, 2024, the sport has contributed to World Autism Day. The "araribolt" team wrote the following in their Instagram post for World Autism Day, translated from Brazilian with Google Translate: "Autistic people are not sick. They are individuals who have a condition that leads autistic individuals to perceive the world differently than typical people, without diminishing their abilities.
Regarding the writing: Autistic individuals may have limitations, but they also have their abilities and experiences, which often make them dedicated and competent professionals, even in sports.
And finally, "araribolt" writes that people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder = ASD) should be treated with due respect and welcomed. An important way to facilitate this is to refrain from using derogatory language (such as the words "sick," "headache," "disabled," and many others) and to treat autistic individuals as we would like to be treated "every day."

Autism
People with autism have difficulties in social situations or conversations. There are various types of people with autism. Some can live and work independently, while others may need support. Some autistic individuals may experience depression, epilepsy, and/or hyperactivity. Autistic individuals can range from having limited intelligence to being very intelligent.
World Autism Day
World Autism Day is observed annually on April 2nd. The theme for this year was "Not Invisible." The day was established on April 2, 2007, by the United Nations General Assembly. This year, attention was drawn to therapy options for those affected, as well as to diagnostic centres. For example, in Linz, efforts were made to raise awareness of therapy options and diagnostic centres. A well-known autistic individual in Germany, who became known in 2023 through the film adaptation of the book "The Weekend Rebels", warned against an organization that introduced a puzzle piece as a symbol for autistic individuals.

Quidditch/Quadball
Quidditch/Quadball is a sport for all genders. This sport is an adaptation of the sport Quidditch from the "Harry Potter" books but has evolved beyond its origins. The renaming to Quadball reflects this. It is a mixture of rugby and dodgeball.
Personal Opinion
I am currently wondering if there are autistic individuals in the Quadball community and, if so, how many, and whether their teams are aware of this. Therefore, I have created an anonymous survey for autistic individuals in the Quadball community. This survey is linked before the sources. I will evaluate the results of the survey later and write an anonymized article based on it.
